Ethanol fuel E85

E85 is an ethanol fuel which reduces carbon dioxide emissions caused by driving by up to 80% compared to fossil fuel.

Ethanol fuel E85 can be used in Flex fuel vehicles or in petrol engines installed with an ethanol fuel conversion kit.

E85 helps to reduce emissions resulting from driving

According to the technical specification, the ethanol content of the E85 fuel can range from 70 to 85 vol-%. The bioethanol included in E85 can be produced, for example, from waste and residues originating from the food industry or waste from stores. Thanks to its high ethanol content, using E85 can reduce emissions resulting from driving by up to 80% compared to traditional fossil fuel.

Developed for the challenging Nordic conditions

E85 has been developed for the challenging weather conditions in the Nordics. It contains special gasoline components which improve, for example, cold start.
