NEOT’ s emission profile
NEOT’s most significant climate impact results from the use of sold products and logistics operations (scope 3). The emissions from the use of sold products account for over 99% of our annual total CO2 emissions.
Due to the trading nature of business, NEOT’s operations do not cause material direct CO2 emissions (scope 1). NEOT operates six terminals in Finland and the emissions resulting from the use of energy and heat of these facilities (scope 2) represent approx. 0.1% of NEOT’s annual emissions.
We continuously strive to develop our emission reporting so it would provide even clearer picture of the climate impact resulting from our operations.
