Rail transport in Finland

NEOT uses railways for transporting motor fuels from the Hamina terminal to its own inland terminal at Varkaus. Approx. 200,000 tons of motor fuels are annually delivered to the Varkaus terminal. The motor fuel transport fleet is leased from VR.

Safety is the most important thing in operation both at terminals and in rail transport. There are fire extinguishing systems, recording camera surveillance and a collecting system for leakage.

Fuels are transported from Hamina terminal to Varkaus terminal.
